I have a two month old Toshiba MV20FL4 in other words a TV VCR combo. It comes on with much coaxing, stays on variously for 1 to 3 minutes and shuts itself off. Any suggestions/help please. Thanks. (I have read postings about the scrubber capacitor, what and where is that?)

If you purchased this new take it back, like now… It’s under warranty, if not then we’ll go from there…
