Hello,
I have a Mitsubishi VCR and it stoped working one day. Its pluged in and nothing happens. I push the power button and nothing happens. I thought it was the outlet went bad so I brought it to another room and pluged it it and pushed the power button and nothing happened. I was recording a tape, then went to go eat dinner. It started to rain but there were no power shortages or outages. It's a MITSUBISHI HS-U51 VCR and I don't know what to do. Can you hheeellllpp me plleeeeeaaassssseeeee!!!

Did you check the fuse(s) inside the vcr?

If it's not fuse, that model is also known to blow transistor Q8A5 on the timer board.
