I have a LXI Model 56442455950 TV That the cat stepped on the remote. Now the TV's features continually scroll down the screen.
I checked the search of this and found a thread about this, but the person with the problem lost the remote. I have the remote and understand that their is a procedure using the remote that will cure this problem. Is their any one that knows how to cure this?

try unplugging the set and see if it resets ? from the remote or front panel it is a combo of holding a couple keys down at the same time to clear this but its been to long ago. i think it was vol up and channel up or vol down and channel down . lxi is sold by sears they have a 900 customer support line but i do not know the min. charge for it.

Hold down setup button for 5 seconds then release. This should turn off feature screen.

Thanks for the replies,
I tried using the remote and pushing the up/down buttons for 5-15 seconds (actually I have tried alot of combinations) with no luck. I do not have a set up key but tried the feature key with no luck. If their is a 900 number I'd be willing to try that. I know their is a solution for this it has been done before but I don't know what it is.
