magnavox model 25tr12-c221 ch.25x601-00aa....Orignal problem dead.. replace hot and 200v cap ..set played 2 weeks ,cutoff,leave set couple hrs may play all day ,replaced caps neer fly still have same prob.also hot hearsink extra hot.(hot was replaced with orginal..:confused:

Have you resoldered the HV section, especially the HOut transformer? also don't over look the new HOT as being faulty or off spec.

Before we get off into replacing retrace capacitors, take your ohmmeter and measure the emitter and base of the h.o.t.
Whats the part number on that h.o.t. your using? Also check your tp location for the B+, NAP chassis usually set at 135volts.
