when lightiting pilot must blow pilot flame directly on thermalcoupling for pilot to stay lit. furnance stays lit and operates properly for about two hours then goes out . other info on previous thread. THANK YOU.:confused:

You may have to put a new thermo couple in.. How old is yours???? They are pretty easy to change out, and they can be brought at any home improvment stores like Home Depot or Lowes...

You firstly must make sure that the pilot flame is adjusted correctly so that the tip of the flame is contacting the thermocouple element, and that the assembly is clean.
You could then try to carefully tighten the thermocouple at the gas valve to ensure a good electrical connection.
Failing this a new thermocouple would be in order as Jay11J suggests.

furnace goes out, do you mean pilot as well? if thermocouple is new, may be valve or even heat exchanger problem.
