Plays great for about 30-45 minutes,then it starts to have a horz pulling or tearing effect. Can't determine if I should go to the AGC-syc eara or to the horzintal deflection area.Can any one say what may cause this or where to look?Thanx ,Cecil35.

cecil35, From what I remember hitachi used a comb filter module that would affect the sync circuit when there was a problem with it(tearing and pulling). See if this a good part number for that module, #jp01031. Whats the date of manufacture on this television?

You might want to check D701 and D702 for any leakage.
