when a/c is turned on the compressor outside turns on but the air handler in the attic will not. does anyone know what would cause this?

fan relay. does fan run when red and green tied together at tstat? does the fan run in heat?

tied red and green together and got nothing,getting same result in heat as in cool mode???

Did you check all the low voltage wires in the attic???;) ED

How about also checking the fan motor and/or fan belt if yours has one.
