I have a question regarding my thermostat. The blower is running even though I have the system turned off. There is no heat or a/c, just air. Does this mean that the thermostat has gone bad?

Not really. Depending on the type of system, there can be a variety of problems to cause your symptom.

more details are needed. does the system function properly when demand for heat/cool from tstat? what make model is it? remove tstat cover with power to unit off. remove green wire (hooked to G on tstat) and restore power. does fan stop? if so, tstat is bad. fan relay may be stuck. does unit have a circuit board? let us know
