I am trying to find information to equip a 8' X 18-24' tandem trailer with a mobile workshop. Does anyone know of any plans, manufatures or other information. Any suggestions as to equipment?

I'm thinking space will be at a premium, so you might want to consider a ShopSmith, which will cover several power tool requirements in one. That, a miter saw, & a good router table and you should be able to do just about anything.

I did the same thing about 20 years ago, knew I was going to move, needed a shop, so I bought an old travel trailer, it was in fact a 24 ft also, I gutted it with the exception of wiring, lighting, and kitchen cabinets. As for plans, I just took it as it came, it actually was a pretty good little shop, was able to get a lot of work done out of it until after we moved and I could build a shop. I then sold the trailer and the guy that bought it was in about the same situation I was in and was very happy to get it. I might add I didn't strip the interior walls, just the petition walls

My workshop is a 1989 Ford school Bus, 66 passenger. Plain english, I have 26' of space behind drivers seat to work with and it is mobile. In the building stage, and collecting of tools now.
