I'm just about to finish a red oak entertainment center for my house. What is the best way to fill 'n match the nail holes to the wood I will stain. Last cabinet I stained then used matching crayon... did okay but is there a better way?

Another way is to mix your stain with wood putty to match the solid wood stain.
Good Luck!
