I am a rank amateur trying to assemble a TV cart. I guess I do not understand the way cams work. Cart won't go together smoothly like it should. Any suggestions or tips? Thanks.

Hi,
Double check your instructions to make sure that you are installing the cam works into the bore in the right orientation to the bore into which you are putting the cam screw. Make sure that the cam is in the proper alignment for the cam screw to enter and start the cam to lock down. I have had some where it was pretty hard to get the first twist into the screw, but when started worked alright. If this has an illustrated view of the cam body, see if you can note an installation mark to guide you. Make sure that you have your pieces square to each other, and as flush as possible, and it helps to do this on a hard surface, instead of a padded carpeted floor. Hope this can help you out.
Good luck,
Trent
