need help !

I applied paste wax to a new store bought table. After hand polishing it came out streaked.how do I remove?:confused:

Hi,
Try going to the minwax site, www.minwax.com
Click on the tab "products and uses" Then select the product from the scroll down box. If nothing there can help you, go back and click on the "shop forum" tab, to see if you can get an answer there. It might take a wax stripper to get rid of the streaks. You might go to the table manufacturer to find out what the table top finish is. You might not be using the correct product.
also if you do use some kind of a product to get the wax and streaks out, make sure that it won't affect the finish on the top.

Paint thinner (I actually prefer Naphtha) will remove the wax - use liberally with rag(s).

Neither product will hurt any cured finish.

PS - It probably streaked because you used too much wax with too little elbow grease...
