I have a cigarette burn in sofa cushion about 1 inch long. I was able to cut a large enough piece of material from underneath sofa to repair the area but not sure best way to proceed. I could slip fabric under the burn area but don't know what adhesive would permanently hold. What do you advise ? Thanks, Decorator jo

If in doubt, consult with a professional. Upholstery patches are usually stitched, rather than glued.
