I have a cabinet that I'd like to make into a sideboard for the dining room. It is too low and I'd like suggestions on how to raise the cabinet. It is currently on wheels and I'm thinking I need to put it on legs instead. It needs about 4 1/2 inches more in height. How do I go about attaching legs? I thought I might find something that just screws in but it appears they sell hardware for the legs which is confusing me. I'd appreciate some instructions! Thanks.

My initial thought is to put an apron on it to which to attach the legs. But then, it would be almost 4.5 inches. That still may be the best approach. The apron would provide support for the legs to keep them from twisting. If you made the apron wide enough, you could put short legs on and raise it enough.

Hi,
Try this site: www.tablelegs.com
on your first screen note " bun feet ", but scroll on down to see the " Warehouse Sale ", and click on it. On this screen scroll almost to the bottom and you will find some "bun feet " that are on sale. If your cabinet has a flat bottom, you could most likely find something of this sort to work for you, if the style is right.
For the heights and diameters etc, just click on the picture.
Hope this might give you some help.
Good luck,
Trent
