We have just added a 12X7' foyer to our home. Plan on using 18" square marble tiles. Must we use grout? I like the look of tiles being butted together. Am worried about tiles cracking or moving without being grouted.

Cracking of tiles tends to be a result of movement in the subfloor. A concrete underlayment board is recommended as well as unsanded grout.
