A pole shelter with a metal roof would work.
Use pressure-treated posts in postholes with gravel in the bottom, frame out a sloped roof, and put metal roofing on it.
Good luck!

Hi,
If this is just to be a "field type" of structure for shade or cover from the rain, how about some thing in the order of a pergola, which you could put on a corragated fiberglass panel roof with a little pitch for runoff? Also I would check with your
ag extention service to see if they have anything. Another item to consider are the building codes since you are in the hurricane area. You can also go to the library and search out books for small outbuildings, sheds or barns, or shelters to get some ideas.
Some of these books will also have tips and instruction for foundation or anchoring, building the structure, along with measured plans. For a pergola type of structure look in the garden structures books for ideas.
good luck,
Trent

I made one from 4 sections of pallisade fencing--the kind that comes in 8 ft lengths that you can just fasten to four posts set into the ground--three on the sides and one for the roof. I made two braces across the corners inside about 5 feet up from the ground. Face the open side away from prevailing winds and it makes for a nice simple shelter.
