I'd like to build a captain's bed for my granddaughter, but I need some plans. Is there anyplace on-line where I can print off some free plans?

Did you search the web.

There is a Taunton book on buiding beds which includes a captains bed. You would have to scale it down for a child though.

If you're really cheap I could photocopy it and send it to you (I have the book).

Hi,
While I've been going through the sites I have noticed that the captian beds are also known as storage beds also. None of these plans have been free. If you don't want to buy a plan, try going to your local library. If you've never worked on a project of this type, you would be better off to buy a book, or a good set of plans, if you can't find anything at the library. Ask the librarian for some help.
Good luck,
Trent
