Hi,
Try your local library. Also try these sites,
www,woodworkersjournal.com Use the search box for "toy box"
"hope chest" or "cedar chest" and you can also use the indexed selections for a search.
www.the3house.com Click on the "free plans on the internet"
The next screen click on the title "search"
next screen will appear the same, but scroll down and in the
woodworking plans search , type in "toy box" or "hope chest, or "cedar chest". Some plans are free,
www.google.com In the search box type in one of these titles,
"hope chest plans", "cedar chest plans", " toy box plans".
You will get a lot of stuff to go through, sit down when you have the time to go through it.
Good luck,
Trent

Hi Trent, and thanks for the suggestions, although I've tried most of those already. Most are plans I have to purchase, which I don't really mind doing, but I needed one right away.
I had typed in Building a Toy Chest on CS, and the results were quickly shown in Acrobat Reader. Only problem there was there were no feet, yards or inches but some other results. Had no idea what they were. Just thought one of the fella members might send a sketch or maybe the correct measurements. I can really figure those out for myself but sometimes others ideas are better than our own. Thanks again, Swamprose

Hi again,
Check out the overall measurements given on some other toy boxes and plug a set of numbers into the plan that you've chosen. Double check yourself before you cut anything
good luck,
Trent
