Anyone ever heard of this sub-brand of Wilsonart? My wife and I went to a couple local flooring stores and have a sample board of this right now - Wilsonart Ultra in Anson Cherry, product #2046-72-6250.
The reason I ask is because as best I can tell it doesn't exist. There's no literature about it on the Wilsonart site, Google returns no (relevant) hits for the color or brand, and it has a longer warrantee than anything on the Wilsonart site (at least the "Homeowner" side - I can't access the commercial side).
It has a 30 year warrantee, claims to be Wilsonart's Finest Laminate, Permaplex surface w/ ScuffShield Plus, satin finish, GreyCore high density moisture resistant core, LB2 backer. Yes, that was all off the back of the display board we have. Sorry for the marketroid speak.
We've been quoted an installed price that's the same as for Wilsonart Classic at another dealer. I'm intrigued/mystified/wary though since there's an absolute dearth of information available about it.

Call Wilsonart and ask them! It may be new or private labelled. I have never heard of it.

This floor did exist, and was a miserable failure!
Wilsonarts idea was to make a laminate that was impervious to water, you could store this stuff in your pool and install it next month, if it worked!
Unfortunately, they could not make it uniform, in otherwords it was ever so slightly warped out of the box. When I first got my hands on a sample I noticed it was warped, but thought being a sample maybe it was just a deffective peice. I knew looking at the sample there was no possible way of installing this warped peice. After being on the market for a few months, and a few installs, it was pulled with the promise of rerelease after Wilsonart retooled. As far as I know this never happened, to bad, because this floor would have solved alot of the problems associated with laminate floors, namely WATER DAMAGE. I wouldn't hesitate to buy Wilsonarts other products as they are tops in the field, but this particular floor you speak of is defunct!:) Tom

I spoke to a Wilsonart rep on the phone and they claim that Ultra is just an exclusive line to Flooring America stores. It is also marketed under other names to a couple other lines of stores.
The GreyCore is not plastic, but just another high density wood core product. The only differences between it and Classic are a thicker wear layer and different bonding between layers.
It is still on the market but not on their website because Wilsonart doesn't want to "promote one store over another". Rather strange way to go about that.
Is this the same product you were referring to Tuberocity?
