No matter what search I run, I can't find info on this topic.
Perhaps someone here can help -
Just bought a condo with a screened deck and a great water view. Problem is, the black screen keeps catching the eye and it is very hard not to see it. This results in a "screened" or "veloxed" effect that spoils the view somewhat.
Has anyone painted window screen a light color (light gray?) and successfully reduced the "screened" effect when looking out?
Thanks for whatever tips you can provide -

jjacobs3,
I'll just wing it this time, have you considered trying to paint it with a spray can? It might be the easiest but you must be careful of overspray onto anything you don't want painted.
Alternative is to replace it with new screen.
Good Luck!

The paint film would add to the screen thinckness, reducing visibility even further. Replace the vinyl screen material with aluminum, or get fancy and go with copper or bronze which wil not blacken like aluminum.
