I am considering installing Shaw's Trafficmaster flooring (from Home depot) with the SimpleLock glueless installation system. The look, price ($2 sq ft) and 25 year warranty are attractive. Will be covering about 1600 sq ft. Does anyone have any experience with this product? My concerns are with the locking system. I don't need the problems the previous poster has. Thanks.

There are many different brands of laminate available. Many are made by the same manufacturer. Within each brand there are good, better, best levels of quality and warranties which tend to be reflected in price. It is best to shop around and compare apples to apples.
Yes, the locking system is of great importance as well as how dense and solid the core is. Better quality laminates tend to cost more than $2/SF. Shop around, compare, and buy the best product your budget will allow.
There is a saying, "You get what you pay for.” Don’t be fooled by low-priced flooring because you could be buying low performance as well.
