hi all,

just bought a new place and had to take down a few poplars in order to save my apple tree and a cpl spruce...Looking for a few options in removing the stumps.

Hi Derwood,

Grinders work well and take them down deep. Cut to ground level and drill holes then use a Bio actavator in holes you drill into the stump and fill with this product.

BackHoe if you have the room to work. There are guys who for 30 to40 dollars an hour, will bring in a much smaller back hoe ( Than Big Yellow ) & dig it up.

Do you want to do it, or have someone else that's the question I have. You can rent the smaller trac hoes with trailer & do it yourself.
