Help!! My wood futon frame has been smelling in one distinct area. Does this mean that I have mold growing in the wood? I don't see anything there. Please advise!!

If the smell is in the wood ONLY, mold is a possibility.
If the smell is in the cushions AND the wood, I suspect a pet.
If it's the former, a wash with household bleach diluted half and half with water should do the trick.
If it's the latter, same remedy, plus a little house training...
