Hi There I was wondering if I could mix the tsp with the bleach water solution together? 1/3rd bleach to water then the tsp. Was going to spray it on and scrub to remove mildew and sanding dust. What do u think? Thanks

I don't know if mixing the two would let both work like they should or not. You have some dark mildew you could try bleach on an area, then TSP and then both and let us know. If I needed both and feared mixing I would bleach first and then TSP. I like the dulling effect the TSP has......Mike

finnigan,

Sorry I got in here late.
Jomax makes a good alum/vinyl siding cleaner, calls for addition of bleach. Directions may say okay for painted wood also.
I use a large bucket, medium brush with extension handle. It's quicker than spraying. Then I light pressure wash. But a garden hose after brushing on cleaner would do the trick also.

Ivy feet from soffits - Random orbt sander - about 80 or 100 grit paper.

Hey thanks for the reply I used an orbital sander with 60 grit on the ivy feet today worked well although above head. The feet left stains which I hope bleach and tsp take care of.
If I prime with oil base primer how long do I have until it rains for the primer to have set up?
