All the caulking around windows is cracked open about 1/8" .Do I remove all the caulking and start over or just the crack edges?Tips on removing the caulking would be appreciated.
The paint over the soffits is cracked as the plywood beneath it with dark powdery mold ( i guess) around the cracks.Would sanding be the solution ? Would washing after with tsp remedy the mold?
Thanks

I'd remove the existing caulk if it's loose or in bad shape. Otherwise leave it (that's something I need to see to make a judgement on). With respect to the mold or mildew, try cleaning with TSP and if it's mildew, water and bleach should do the trick.
