i have dug down at the outside of the cellar walls ,they are a stone foundation. i want to plug up the holes in the wall, whats the best way to do it, ,they had backfilled with football,to basketball size rocks which created cavities and let the rat ,moles and water easy access to the cellar. after i patch the gaps/holes what would be the best way to waterproof the outside walls . then what would be the best back fill after i waterproof . tks for any help

I realize you're asking what to seal the exterior of the stone with, and that I don't know, but I have a brick on granite foundation and the product applied to seal it from the inside is called Thuroseal. You can get it in the US at Home Depot. HTH!
