ok i got this large screen projection tv model# VS-470RS. When it gets warm the colors go off track. I can adjust them after it is cool and it will work fine. then the colors will start seperating again. i have these great green, blue, and red ghosts around everything. The pic is still crystal clear. What is wrong with it and how do i fix it? please help.

Sounds to me like bad solder joints on the convergence IC's

where are the IC's on the convergence board?
I need to find the specs on this tv. They are no posted on the main website because it is to old.

The board is access through the fron to the TV it is behind the left speaker.
Look for the big IC's on that board

i had the same problem with the 70" set i had a few years ago. many shops tried to fix it...no luck. mitsubishi had their people on the line with local techs.....no luck. many attempts, many $$$ spent. the set was not very old. just outside of warranty. i then started a letter and phone call campaign to mitsubishi corporate. informing them that i was a large purchaser/recommender of their products. after about 3 months of this effort, they delivered a brand new 70" to my door----no charge. it was even the newer model that was out. i think they have the best customer service if you stay on top of them. hope you resolve your issue. and goo luck with the set.
