OK here's a few problems that my stereo equipment is giving me.
1} I have this reciever unit (its a Technics, can't remember model numher.) and its been having trouble with sending enough volume to the speakers. it sounds staticy in the Left one, and no sound in the R. But I can coax it to work with a song that has a few quick volume changes. Is the problem one with the amp, or the speaker wires or anything else.
2)I have a cd changer that is not reading the cds, it spins them, and looks for track 1 but never finds it, but it reads that the disc is there and gives a tarack length/ time on the display. what's wrong and how do I fix it?
3) My friend gave me this nice sereo amp that he picked up at a thrift store. It works fine for around 10 minutes then stops. It smells like something is burning for about the last 3. I took the cover off and there are only two identical pieces coming off the circuit board that are unsusually hot. After it cools, it begins to work again.
Any help would be appreciated.

<<<*** The solder joints around the amplifier are bad. Look around the heat sink and resolder them.***>>>
