I have now contacted at least 5 contractors to give me a bid on a 12x20 concrete slab off my walkout. All of them said they would look at it and contact me. Ya you guessed it. I was blown off by all of them. It's now been a month. Is this job too small for a contractor, should I do it myself? Could I order redimix for this size of a slab? I can't believe nobody wants my money!

I had the same problem. 14 x 20 patio. I had a contractor flat out tell me that its not worth it, First, they would have to wheel barrow in the base then the concrete. Most of these guys are union and that would cost a fortune. He said there is alot more easier work out there and more $$$$.
