I have 4 TV's , 3 of which is connected to Cable by a splitter. 2 of the sets who good (these are not new) the third set shows awful and it is a new TV set. I changed the splitter with one I purchased from radio shack and that didn't work. If I go and fiddle with the splitter connection ( that is on the first floor) I can clear it up for a little while but not permently. Does anyone have any ideas I can try this has plagued me for some time now. Ready to try anything.

Sounds like a bad connection at the splitter. I suggest you call your local cable company. They have the correct connectors and tools to install them. Service in most areas is free.

I call as soon as I got your reply and they came out and said something was loose and they repaired it. I have had this problem for over a year and who thought it would have been that simple. Thanks for showing me the obvious.
