Hello,

I have a Zenith Projection Screen TV model PV5263MK that was knocked out in a storm a few weeks back. The tv itself is pretty old, has a manufacture date of November 1994.

There was a power surge and electricity was knocked out for about an hour. When power came back on, the tv wouldn't turn on for anything.

I've tried the Zenith "reset" with unplugging the tv for 5mins and trying again, with no luck.

I've also gone into the tv to see if there were any fuses, which I only found one, right next to the power plug, but the fuse was still good....I replaced it to be on the safe side but to no avail.

I was wondering if there is anything else that could be checked out before getting a tv repair person in here to fix it - which is money I dont have at the moment.

Thanks in advance for any help you might have.

timwi, You will need to check the power supply for any componets that have changed value due to the surge.
