I have a sony 25 inch,,perfect in every way until a month ago. The cat spilled sugary liquid down the inside back of tv. Now i just have static if i try to use just channels or the vcr, howerer the playstation and the dvd (which hook into the front )work fine.

crazycat14, Remove the back cover and take a close look on the circuit board and see where the liquid landed on the circuit board.

I did that,,it was around the antenna area,,,i cleaned and dusted it,,,still no working. to me, it doesnt look as if anything is wrong with the inside.
