Hello all:
I have an wall on one side of my newly-purchased house where the aluminum siding is old, so the white paint from the siding has washed down onto the brick wall over the years and colored it semi-white. It looks like crap so of course I want to remove the white-wash.
I've been exploring options and asking a lot of opinions, and I've heard everything suggested, from sandblaasting to using an acid wash. I'm curious if anyone else has had this problem or knows a way to easily fix it.
I know the sandblasting route would make the brick look brand new, but I'm worried about blasting around the newly installed vinyl windows in this wall. It would also probably be the most expensive option since I'd probably have to pay someone to do it.
But, is there anythin a DIYer can do?
Peace.
