Does anyone have experience having duct worked cleaned in their home?
If so, did you see a noticeable change after having this done?
Just wanted another opinion--thanks.

We had it done as part of new system being installed. It was included in the price.
I can't say that it made a huge difference, but the sucked some nasty crap out of our ducts. Our house was 18 years old at the time.
I would do it again, provided the that price was reasonable. We are doing alot of re-habbing and will probably have it done again we we are done.

I just had it done in a home I moved into. It is a small 3 bed 1158 square foot home, and it cost about $150. Is it worth it? HELLLL ya!!! Especially in an older home. Look in some of those vents. You don't know what is there. Old cat/dog/mice/people hair, mold, dust. Years and years of crud. Then you turn on the a/c and it spreads it round and round. I tend to get allergies. When I did a walk through on the house while the old people were living there, it took only 10 mins, and I was wheezing/sneezing and had a runny nose so bad I had to rush out. Now, new carpet and duct cleaning later----0 allergies!
