my current a/c drain creates a puddle of water next to the house that is very unsightly. the a/c unit is in the garage and the drain runs under the house to the outside. my question is what i can do minimize/eliminate this problem

if it is pvc pipe, extend it away from the house making sure to keep a downhill slope. if it is condensate tubing, either extend it with a short piece of 3/8 copper tubing to slide 1/2 way into the existing 3/8 ID tube, then a piece of tubing from your supplier slid over the other 1/2 of the copper. i use electrical tape to hold it all together when done. or you can run it into a hose or piece of pipe directed away from the house.
