I was surfing yesterday and saw a site that sells a/c units from several major manufacturers. I can't find it today. I need a condenser and air handler. Who sells this stuff online?
Thank you,
John

http://www.usamfg.net/ be sure to have the refrigeran charge done by a certified tech. a vacuum must be pulled, checked for leaks, and charged according to mfr specs. beware this unit will probably have no warranty if you put it in yourself.

Thank you for the url. I appreciate your advise on getting someone who knows what they are doing to do the startup. I don't mind paying full-boat for these types of services. I would like to buy units and supplies at wholesale prices and do the gruntwork myself and have a knowledgable person do the pieces that are beyond my experience. I have found that I can construct superior ductwork in certain cases but it takes me 10 times as long to do it as a "pro". Given my current retirement rate of pay of $0.00 an hour times 10 still is better than anywhere I go for like services. I always make sure that the people I help get the work inspected by the local housing inspection folks. In my half-vast experinece everything has always passed at least by the second round of inspections! I do care about people's safety and their limited pocketbooks.
Thanks again for your help.
