I hope someone is on right now...Our air conditioner is not working. The compresser outside is fine...the fan is blowing and everything...but cool air, let alone any air, is coming into the house...please help.

Not much info to go on but first make sure the filter is clecn and all dampers and vents are open and the return air is not blocked.. Make sure the compressor is in fact running, not just the outside fan. If so, you should be able to feel some temperature difference in the two copper lines. The smaller will be warmer or hotter than the larger suction line which should be cold or at least cool. If ok so far, you need to check and see if your indoor coil is icing up either on the bottom or on the whole coil face. If you get a litle cooling on startup and it dies off, you could be short of freon. If it cools for an hour or so and pukes, then you probably have a dirty coil and blower. In either event, you need to call an HVAC technician. There are other varibales here but I've touched on the most common causes. Obviously your indoor fan should be running throughout the cooling cycle.
