I have had two Samsung widescreen tvs with a pale green splodge on the left hand side about 9 inches by 2 inches wide. Both tvs have gon eback with no explanatiopn and with a full refund.
So I now got a Sharp widescreen tv and guess what ?........ The same is happening........ Before you say anyhing, NO there is no unshielded speakers or any electrical equipment within 4 mtrs. So Thats not it. This Sharp does correct its-self but its annoying.
Previously eng for Samsung told me its an intrinsic fault with ALL WIDESCREEN TV`s. Degausiing, I said and they said NO....... So any Boffins out there that know the answer?....... PLEASE EMAIL ME WITH IT:confused:

No, there is a magnetic field involved in this issue.
Check this: if you turn the unit 90 degrees, does the problem go away?
