I like the laser trac on the craftsman miter saw and would like to know if there is "add on laser trac" that you can get for a saw that doesn't have one.

I have seen a small level with a small removeable laser light assembly.
If you were handy with metal working you should be able to fashion a bracket to mount on your saw.
Disclaimer: If you do try to do this, make sure you know what you are doing. It would be quite unpleasant to have the light contact the blade!
