During a recent electrical storm Our Main TV ( 36" Toshiba ) no longer plays a video/audio source. The TV was on a surgre protector. The TV powers on / off fine. But, we receive a black screen that will not allow the channels to be changed or any external video source to be played thru it. Maybe a surge thru the coaxial cable.
Any Ideas ?

TdM, If it did not fry the passive circuit in the outlet strip it rode in on the cable line. Whats the model number and date of manufacture of this television?
