Hello. I am going to carpet the stairs (2 steps) in my garage. I haven't the slitest idea how to cut the carpet to make it meet at the corners. Any help would be appreaciated. Thanks so much.

I run a row to get my stairs straight and if the carpet has a pattern or is a loop pile berber it is a must, but for cut pile carpet, a straight edge works good. Square up the bottom of the first step with a framing square, before placement. Cut the length long. It is easier to do multiple stairs out of one piece of carpet for an experienced installer, Doing steps one at a time(cap & band), with an individual piece of carpet for each step takes forever.
