Hi all,

I've noticed that some of the tiles in my bathroom (in the tub area) are becoming loose. I've stopped using the bathroom to avoid water damage to the wall beneath the tiles. How can I set these tiles back in place? Should I remove them and cement or glue them back on? How do I handle the areas between the tiles. I'd like to maintain the white separations (I believe this is grout) between them. How can I do this? I'm a new home owner and just learning as I go along.
Thanks for your help!

Loose tiles mean movement, tile replacement may be a temporary fix.

If the walls these tiles are on is made of gypsum sheetrock, or "greenboard", chances are the gypsum board has started to deteriorate, and get soft. Also it could be growing mold.

Besure to use unsanded grout in the thin grout lines.
