My house was built in 1901. In the dining room, there are leaded glass windows. They're beautiful, and I don't want to cover them up, so I intend to cover them half way, but I've been unable to find any examples of how these windows were treated in the early 1900s (fabric choices, rods, etc.). Also, I have a lot of woodwork in the room--there's a "coffered" ceiling (a sort of dark wood "grid") and a picture rail with vertical wood slats. The room has so much detail that I'm afraid to do something too plain or too busy with the windows. Any ideas? Any resource ideas?
