I am looking for recommendations for which two grinding stones to purchase to keep my wood turning tools shaped and sharpened. I am new to wood turning:confused:

Hello thiggy.
Your useage of the word "turning" indicates to me your referring to tools used on a lathe to shape wood. If this is correct, these types of wood cutting tools require a specialized machine & specialized wheels to sharpen the wood cutting tools, accurately and correctly.
If your referring to hand wood cutting and carving tools, there are several types of machines that can be used, depending upon the shape of the tools etc.
White wheels, both wet and dry types, wet stones, grinding wheels, belt sanders, etc can be used.
Check the prior posted questions, within this forum topic, for sharpening questions on this topic and the replies offered on an assortment of tools.
