Has anyone installed wood/tile combo on slab foundation? Real wood requires a drop in the slab followed by an attachment of subflooring while tile is best placed directly on the slab. I am worried about leveling tile and wood. Are most wood/tile combo jobs with laminate flooring? Any steps, tricks, etc would be helpful....I can send a pic for viewing sample project.
