Unfortunatley, trying to use full sheets, I did not get the joints or seams of the drywall on studs (vertical installation). Of course these points are somewhat weak. What can I do, besides rip it all down and start again? I have not taped or put any joint compound on yet. I am afraid of it cracking, hoping no one leans on it, then I know it will crack.

You will have to tear it down and start over. The seams have to end up on a 2 x elsewise you will have problems forever.

You can remove alternate sheets and put blocks between the studs to connect the sheetrock edges to.
