I have an 11 inch diameter hole, for an old wood stove chimney stack in the basement, in an 8 inch thick foundation. I have currently sealed off the hole from the inside of the basement with a overlapping sheet of 1/2 inch plywood.
What is the best way to seal or plug this large hole? Also is any reinforcing needed depending on method used?
I have attempted to contact two local concrete contractors and apparently this job is to small to be considered at the present time.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
