I have a Kenmore gas range, model # 362 75980891. It has a stainless bar handle held by two brackets onto the front of the door. Both brackets broke off at the site of the door. I was able to order new brackets, and can use the same handle, but HOW do I take the door itself apart to get to the inside screws? I don't want to remove the door itself.

It has two screws on the top inside, and two screws on brackets underneath.

Thanks,
Betsy

The door halves should be held together by screws through the inside door liner, if you need to take it apart. You can see an exploded view illustration of your range door at the following link:

I think you'll regret attempting to take the door apart without removing it from the range first (if even possible). Removing the door will likely be the easiest part.
