We are about to replace our back door (single) with French double doors. We found a vinyl unit at Lowe's made by Probilt.
We would like to hang 2" wooden or synthetic blinds over the single lite pane on ea. door. The door is hollow core but double wall construction, about 1/2" through both walls. Will a vinyl door hold the mounting screws for the weight of a blind valance and blinds at the top of the window for the long term? Is there a better way to mount the blinds? Should we forget the vinyl doors and go with wood?:confused:
