A little help please .My homes block wall is made in sections about 15' each. With larger block pillars that make a "h" shape
that each section slips into. One section fell down. The bottom
bricks of the bad section are still secure in the footing.Well all but one.I have chipped away the mortor off the top of those .Am i correct in assuming it's ok to re-build the wall on the existing row of brick????? The only brick that was damaged on that bottom row i removed ,leaving about 2" of it in the footing that won't come out. What is the best way to fix it ???? ie: cut about 2" off a new one and set it in mortor ???? or use mortor or cement to replace the missing portion of that one brick ?????
Also is there a rule of thumb of where to put re-bar and ladder mesh ??????? the broken wall had none
